Avec la Saint-Valentin qui approche à grands pas, je vous propose un petit modèle de carte. Je l’ai réalisée avec des autocollants Dazzles de Hot Off The Press (HOTP-1844).
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, here is a card made with Dazzles stickers from Hot Off The Press (HOTP-1844).
J’ai découpé le bord de ma carte avec la lame festonnée de ma planche Cutterpede, puis j’ai adhéré une bande de carton rouge que j’ai agrémentée de bordures autocollantes. J’ai ensuite utilisé les plus petits cœurs comme pochoirs. Pour être capable de les décoller de mon carton, je les ai d’abord appliqué sur un vêtement pour leur enlever un peu de leur «pouvoir collant». J’ai vaporisé avec un mélange d’eau, de Perfect Pearls et d’encre Distress – on peut aussi utiliser du Glimmer Mist. Truc : pour vaporiser proprement, masquer le bord festonné d’une feuille de papier et, après avoir vaporisé, faire attention de nettoyer la surface avec un essuie-tout avant de déplacer la carte, pour éviter de la tacher.
I cut off the edge of my card with the scallop blade of my Cutterpede trimmer, and I adhered a strip of red cardstock to which I added some border stickers. I then used the smaller hearts as stencils. To make sure I could peel them off the card without tearing the sticker or the card, I first stuck them on my clothes to take some of the «sticky power» away. I sprayed a homemade mixture of water, Perfect Pearls and Distress Ink – one could also use Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Tip: to keep your card «clean» while spraying, cover the scallop border with a piece of scrap paper to protect it. Also, after spraying, be careful you don’t pull the card into the puddle of liquid, just pick up the excess with a rag or a paper towel before moving anything – this way, you will avoid staining your card.
J’ai ensuite appliqué les cœurs choisis sur du carton rouge et j’ai découpé; pour les deux plus petits cœurs, j’ai laissé une mince bordure rouge autour du collant. J’ai ajouté une autre épaisseur de carton, cette fois noir, pour créer un contraste. Le grand cœur a été adhéré à la carte à l’aide de carrés de mousse pour donner du relief.
I then adhered the hearts to some red carddstock and I cut around them, leaving a tiny red border. I added another layer, this time black cardstock, to create contrast. The bigger heart was adhered to the card with foam tape for dimension.
Et voilà!
