Each year, I like giving my co-workers a litlle something to celebrate Halloween. This year, it will be a little treat bag with an oatmeal cookie inside (I even added some pumpkin seeds to the array of seeds and nuts in the recipe).
- A small plastic bag
- Double-sided adhesive (to close the bag)
- Cardstock
- Assorted Papers
- Corner rounder punch
- Round punch
- Scallop punch
- Stapler
Once your cookies have cooled, place one in a plastic bag. Cut off the excess and adhere the end well to ensure that your cookie remains fresh.
Cut a piece of cardstock - your choice color - in the shape of a rectangle measuring 10.5 cm x 8 cm. Fold in half lengthwise. Punch corners using your corner rounder.
Now, cut a piece of patterned paper of your choice in a rectangle of 9.5 cm x 3 cm. I chose a sheet of polka dot paper from the Bo Bunny Halloween collection. Adhere your paper to the front of your folded cardstock.
Now, you are ready to staple your folded cardstock to your bag. Then, decorate to taste - I chose a home-made tag made from a punched scalloped circle. I used Bo Bunny's Whoo-ligans Batty paper, which I inked with a dauber, and I layered it with a 1" punched circle, which I adhered with foam squares.
I added a small spider sticker on a black piece of cardstock and covered it with Glossy Accents.
And now, here is another wrapping idea - I made a little template for you, if you would like to make your own:
Here is the template. I traced it in white on my black cardstock and cut it up, then adhered it with double-sided tape. To decorate, just use your imagination!
I hope these cute little projects will inspire you.
