Hello everyone!
(voir ici pour la version française)
We have the pleasure to announce the imminent arrival of a brand new stamp company within our walls: Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps. Established in Ontario since October 2009, this company offers a nice range of pretty and whimsical images deeply etched in unmounted grey rubber. Kim Reid, the owner, deals with some talented artists to bring out new images every month. Some of our customers have already reserved their favorites, so don’t hesitate to swing by our online store to see what’s coming! We are expecting these to arrive sometime next week.
To celebrate this new line, we asked Kim to tell us a little bit about herself and her team, read on for the fruits of our little e-mail “interview”.
“I have been in the papercrafting industry for about 10 years. I started out as a scrapbooker and then when I discovered that I could use stamps in my scrapbooks... it opened up a whole new world. My favourite stamps are always cute and whimsical and fun! I have worked on several design teams for different stamp companies over the last few years and have my own personal blog where I share my creations. My dream has always been to own my own stamp company and that dream has finally come true. In October of 2009 I opened Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and it has been a wonderful journey to this point! In fact, I have just quit my 'real job' to run Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps full time! Very exciting!
My design team is made up of wonderful and talented ladies that I have 'met' over the years through stamping and they are all absolutely fantastic! We are really like a happy stampin' family! We have a release and blog hop every month and seeing all their creations is such a joy to me! I have the privilege of working with the most amazing artists and their art is so much fun to work with! I am truly blessed!
My motto is 'A day without crafting, is like a day without sunshine!'.”
